This page describes how SupplyRank researches, writes and maintains supplier profiles and guides.
Profiles are built from the supplier’s own published materials (site, price lists, help centers), public registries, and aggregated seller sentiment from platforms like Trustpilot, Shopify App Store, Reddit and Google — always quoted briefly and linked to the source. Where we state a number (MOQ, minimum order, rating), it was visible at the source on the “Last verified” date shown on the profile.
Suppliers do not pay to be listed, ranked or rated. If a supplier ever sponsors a placement, it is labelled as such and never affects editorial ratings. Verification badges reflect a documented process, not a payment.
We correct factual errors same-day when shown evidence. Suppliers and sellers can flag inaccuracies via the profile page or [email protected]. Material corrections are noted on the profile.
Every editorial verdict includes what we could not verify and what buyers should check themselves. A missing company address, unusual payment restrictions or thin independent review coverage are stated plainly — not hidden to keep a listing friendly.
