Review Moderation Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

First-party reviews are the core of SupplyRank, so their integrity gets the strictest rules on the site.

Who can review

Any seller who has genuinely dealt with a supplier — ordered, sampled, or negotiated terms. The form asks which platform you sell on and how long you worked with the supplier; reviews backed by an order proof receive an Order verified badge and more weight in the aggregate rating.

Moderation

Every review is premoderated, usually within 48 hours. We reject: reviews without concrete experience, competitor submissions, incentivised or supplier-written reviews, and personal attacks. We do not reject reviews for being negative — negative experiences with evidence are exactly what the platform is for.

What counts toward ratings

Only approved first-party reviews left on SupplyRank count toward a supplier’s rating. Quotes from external platforms shown in “What sellers say across the web” are context, always linked to their source, and never included in the score. We never publish fabricated reviews — if a profile shows zero reviews, that is because no seller has reviewed it yet.

Supplier responses

Suppliers can respond publicly to any approved review from their claimed profile. Responses are moderated by the same rules.
